It’s finally here!!

 Woohoo, today is the day at last! 

Morning has gone without issue so far aside from the bloody wasp that managed to find its way in through the bathroom window whilst I was having a shower! 

I’ve never felt so exposed 😂.

Got Dan to sort it out after I’d dodged around it for 10 mins whilst getting dry! 

On the plane now to Heathrow after a couple of cheeky Bloody Mary’s in the very strange makeshift lounge in T3. We had to drink out of plastic glasses for goodness sake - hahahaha. Doesn’t bother me but Dan has a massive aversion to them but apparently it doesn’t matter when the drink is free 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Little bit of faffery on the plane before take off as there were too many passengers booked on for some reason. Lovely woman in front of us said they could take the middle seat on her row (removing the table thing that they put in for Biz Class) if it helped get us off on time. 

Didn’t need to in the end and now we’re ready to depart…. 

Arrived in Heathrow without issue of course and rather full of champagne! One of the stewards on the flight seemed to be quite interested in Dan as she made a point of remarking on what a long journey he had given he was going to Vancouver and then gave him two V&T’s when he just asked for one!! But she kept bringing that Champagne bottle round so we were all winners in the end 😂

Heathrow T5 was, as always, carnage! It’s just so bloody busy. We went to the lounge which I also found too busy and not ‘all that’ either. But I’m probably being picky I guess! 

Now on board the plane to Canada and oh my, I’m so in love with flying Business Class already and we’ve not even left the runway!! 

I’ve had my seat in every possible position, inspected every little storage spot, tried a bit of all the toiletry set , checked out my blanket and pillow and gone through all the movies & box sets to see what I might watch. Still can’t decide, I’m just too excited (hmm and maybe a tad tipsy 🥴 ).

I’ve been able to do all this as the plane is, so far, delayed by 55mins. Some issue with the on boarding process which had to be done manually and now the numbers don’t tally so they’re going round checking us all again.

Just encouraged another glass of champers from the steward whilst we wait, so I’m not fussed! 

Might have a nap actually 😂
